EDF @Great Lakes aims at developing students’ skills in all these areas. We have formed sub-committees aligning to all these areas in the right direction to obtain maximum output. This channelization is done by an experienced faculty advisor through his insights about the practical world of business and competition. First and Second generation entrepreneurs from around India share their experiences through lectures organized by the members of the Forum. Translating theory into practice is a necessity for any entrepreneur. With this in mind, Business Plans are formulated and executed by the students. To build strong relationships with Entrepreneurs and organisations, members of the Forum also carry out Consulting activities to enable entrepreneurs adopt latest theories being practiced elsewhere in the world. Hands-on-experience is extremely essential to establish one’s company and flourish in this world of brutal competition. Hence, the KARMA team of EDF works with the philosophy “Actions speak louder than words” and carries out activities for gaining real time experience at work.
